Craftsman's house in Klin: Reference objects
Introduction
The renovated craftsman's house in Klin, Slovakia, is a successful example of how tradition and modernity can be harmoniously combined. The building impresses with its classic architecture, its loving details and its natural stone masonry. The aluminium rhomboid roof tile 44 × 44 in P.10 stone grey was used for this renovation and attracts particular attention.
The large-format rhomboid tiles fit perfectly into the traditional design language of the house and at the same time give it a contemporary appearance. Thanks to the durable aluminium surface, the roof is not only a visual highlight, but also a functional asset: it is lightweight, durable, corrosion-resistant and recyclable. The low weight in particular makes aluminium rhombuses the ideal choice for renovations where roof load is an important factor.
