The kick-off meeting for our new North West Europe (NWE) region took place from 14 to 16 September. Three intensive days were devoted entirely to discussion, strategy and team spirit. Country Managers from BeLux, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the UK and Ireland, as well as the Sales Director, Marketing Manager, Managing Director and colleagues from various departments, came together to shape the shared future of the new region.
Looking to the future together
The event kicked off at PREFA’s headquarters in Marktl, Austria. During a factory tour, the team gained fascinating insights into PREFA’s production processes and experienced first-hand how quality, innovation and passion are put into practice at the site.
The focus then shifted to the 2028 Strategy. Together, they discussed the goals PREFA will pursue in the coming years and how the new North West Europe region will contribute to its further development.
On the second day, the focus was on mutual learning. The country managers presented their markets, shared experiences and exchanged successful ideas. Workshops on CRM, customer data and market strategies provided further opportunities for joint solutions and fresh inspiration.
Team spirit was also strengthened. During a joint cooking session at BioPLATZL, the emphasis was on getting to know one another personally and working together as a new team.
Shared values, shared direction
To round off the event, the team took part in the “I YOU WE” workshop, which explored their shared values and the question of how the new region intends to work together successfully across national borders in the future.
A particular highlight was the guided tour of the construction site for the new PREFA Academy. It impressively demonstrates that PREFA continues to invest in knowledge, development and the future.
After three successful days, the foundations have been laid for the new North West Europe region. The team is embarking on the next steps with plenty of motivation, fresh ideas and a strong sense of community.
The motto for the future is: “Stronger together”.
