Lenti bus station: Reference objects

Introduction

The roof literally floats above the bus station and provides a sheltered entrance for getting onto buses. To further enhance this effect, the architect was looking for something light and durable for the roof and façade. Because he was already familiar with PREFABOND aluminium composite panels from previous projects, the building was planned around the product, so to speak, which saved on waste. The pure white four-metre-long composite panels wrap around the 44-metre-long underside of the roof and give the heavy steel structure a certain lightness. The spaces for the waiting room etc. were clad with PREFABOND in P.10 anthracite.
