Humenné Castle: Reference objects
Introduction
A new roof for an aristocratic building — Humenné Castle was built in the 17th century in the Renaissance style. It was destroyed after the Second World War and rebuilt in the sixties. 50 years later, it was time for the building, so important to the town, to be renovated, and the already damaged roof was given a new covering. The colour of the rhomboid roof tiles and the matching accessories in anthracite keep alive the memory of the historic iron elements.
