Jean Peyraud primary school in Pierre-Buffière: Reference objects
Introduction
The new primary school in Pierre-Buffière provides an impressive setting for children.
A new, elongated building was erected below the old structure on a difficult terrain with a slope. The memorable building envelope is clad with striking PREFA rhomboid roof and façade tiles 29×29 in the colour P.10 light grey and the special colour maya gold. The interesting colours in the rhomboid pattern were applied to 1,265m² for the roof and 450m² for the façade, giving the school a contemporary accent.
