Roof renovation of a detached house in Ingolstadt: Reference objects
Introduction
This detached house in Ingolstadt is a fine example of a successful roof renovation. The striking hipped roof has been re-roofed with PREFA rhomboid roof tiles 44 × 44 in the colour P.10 light grey. The characteristic stucco finish gives the roof surface a lively appearance.
Particular attention has been paid to the seamlessly integrated trapezoidal dormers and the stylish chimney cladding – both also finished in PREFA aluminium, creating a uniform and high-quality overall appearance.
The roof drainage system, featuring a half-round gutter and downpipe in P.10 light grey, perfectly complements the roof structure in terms of colour. At the reverse of the house, the PREVARIO solar panel mounting system is visible; it supports a large-scale photovoltaic system and is optimally integrated into the roof surfaces.
Thanks to the robust aluminium products, the house benefits from a durable and resilient roof that offers maximum stability despite its low weight.
Project-specific special solution: roof break/dormer
If the rhomboid tiles are canted horizontally, a separation layer is required underneath up to the front edge of the dormer.
